Congratulations to our Volunteer Manager, Paul Vitty, who has been shortlisted for Volunteer Manager of the Year in the Third Sector Awards. Paul has made an incredibly valuable contribution to Welcare through his work with our volunteers, expanding our volunteering programme and assisting Welcare in achieving the Investing in Volunteers accreditation. The Third Sector is an online and printed magazine focusing on news from the charity and voluntary sector. The Third Sector Awards is a prestigious annual event showcasing the talent, innovation and success of not-for-profit organisations. The Awards honours people who have made a big impact in the charity sector, with finalists decided by an expert panel of judges. The black-tie presentation ceremony will take place on Wednesday 14th September at the Lancaster London.
