Meet The Team

 

Catharine Adjei
Centre Manager

Catharine first joined Welcare in June 2011 as an Outreach Worker and six years later was appointed Deputy Manager.  Due to a Surrey County Council restructure Catharine had to leave her deputy post in August 2018 but returned in June 2022 as Centre Manager.  Catharine’s current role includes leading the East Surrey team and working in partnership with other statutory and charitable organisations.

Kate Silcock
Centre Administrator

Kate joined Welcare in July 2007. Her current responsibilities encompass heading up the admin team, budget preparation/monitoring and everything premises and facilities related.

 

Jasmine Wakeford
Family Support Worker

Jasmine joined Welcare in January 2015 and provides practical and emotional support to families.

 

Cathy Kershaw
Family Support Worker

Cathy joined Welcare in September 2019 and provides support and outreach services to local families. Cathy also facilitates groups such as Parenting Puzzle, Talking Teens and ‘My Space’.

 

Susie Burnard
Information, Advice & Clerical Receptionist

Susie joined Welcare in East Surrey in April 2015. Her responsibilities include welcoming visitors, dealing with enquiries and other administrative duties.

 

Marion Plotnek
Information, Advice & Clerical Receptionist

Marion joined Welcare in September 2019. Her responsibilities include welcoming visitors, dealing with enquiries and other administrative duties.

 

Georgia Waterton
Family Support Worker

Georgia joined the Redhill team in January 2018 and provides support and outreach services to local families. Georgia also facilitates groups such as Parenting Puzzle, Talking Teens and ‘My Space’.

 

Shonagh Evans
Family Support Worker

Shonagh joined Welcare in April 2016 as a Senior Family Support Worker. Shonagh’s current role as a Family Support worker is to support parents, carers and children who are experiencing difficulties within their family unit.

 

Hina Khan
Playworker

Hina joined Welcare in October 2017 as part-time Play Worker. Her responsibilities include running various play groups and crèches, which include; providing support for families with children with special needs, speech and language delay, isolated parents and bilingual children. She also supports parents in play and learning experience at home with their child.

 

Hollie Sharp
Family Support Worker 

Hollie joined Welcare in September 2020.  Her role includes providing support and outreach services to local families and facilitating groups such as Parenting Puzzle and ‘My Space’.

 

Diane Collins
Family Support Worker

Diane joined Welcare in February 2021 working with families on a one to one basis and has led our Families and Schools Together Work (FAST) in partnership with schools in East Surrey.
