Kate Silcock
Centre Administrator

Kate joined Welcare in July 2007. Her current responsibilities as Centre Administrator encompass heading up the admin team, budget preparation/monitoring and everything premises and facilities related.


Jasmine Wakeford
Family Support Worker

Jasmine joined Welcare in January 2015 and is a Family Support worker and provides practical and emotional support to families. She has a background in Early Years and has worked with children and families since 2005.


Cathy Kershaw
Family Support Worker

Cathy joined Welcare in September 2019, after having previously worked for Dovers Green Children’s Centre in Reigate for 10 years. She is a Family Support Worker who supports families on a 1:1 basis and also runs groups such as Parenting Puzzle and Talking Teens.


Susie Burnard
Information, Advice & Clerical Receptionist

Susie joined Welcare in East Surrey in April 2015 as an Advice, Information and Clerical Receptionist. Her responsibilities include welcoming visitors, dealing with enquiries and other administrative duties.


Marion Plotnek
Information, Advice & Clerical Receptionist

Marion joined Welcare in September 2019, transferring from another local Children’s Centre. Along with Susie, she is the welcoming face at reception; other duties include general admin., dealing with enquiries and sign-posting to other local services.


Georgia Waterton
Family Support Worker

Georgia joined the Redhill team in January 2018 and is a full time Family support worker, providing Support and Outreach services to local Families. Georgia also facilitates groups such as Parenting Puzzle, Talking Teens and ‘My Space’.


Shonagh Evans
Family Support Worker

Shonagh joined Welcare in April 2016 as a Senior Family Support Worker. Shonagh’s current role as a Family Support worker is to support parents, carers and children who are experiencing difficulties within their family unit. This could be due to issues, such as, relationship breakdown, domestic violence, substance misuse, housing, family finances and parenting. Support is provided on a 1:1 basis as well as through group work. Shonagh has a background in youth work, working with missing and exploited children and family work.


Hina Khan

Hina joined Welcare in October 2017 as part-time Play Worker. Her responsibilities include running various drop-in Play groups and Crèches, which include; providing support for families with children with Special needs, Speech and language delay, isolated new mums and bilingual children. She also supports parents in play and learning experience at home with their child.


Hollie Sharp
Family Support Worker

Hollie joined Welcare in September 2020 as a Family Support Worker. Hollie has a background in Social Work and has two years’ experience as a Residential Child Care Worker supporting teenage girls with emotional social and behavioural difficulties due to neglect and trauma.


Diane Collins
Family Support Worker

Diane joined Welcare in February 2021 as a Family Support Worker working with families one to one. She has been managing Early Years settings and providing support to children and families since 2006.
