Welcare’s 120th Anniversary service is a huge success!

We celebrated our 120th anniversary by holding a Service of Thanksgiving on 15th November.

It was a wonderfully uplifting occasion. Welcare celebrated 120 years of supporting children and families in South London, Bromley and East Surrey. The service took place at Southwark Cathedral with over 300 people attending. Welcare’s President, the Rt. Reverend Christopher Chessun, Bishop of Southwark, presided and the Venerable Dr Paul Wright, Archdeacon of Bromley and Bexley and a trustee of Welcare, led the prayers. The Rt Reverend James Langstaff, Bishop of Rochester, the Rt Revd Dr Michael Ipgrave, Bishop of Woolwich, and the Venerable Chris Skilton, Archdeacon of Croydon were special guests.
