Playlink 16th Birthday Party April 2019

“The children enjoyed exploring the activities and many people just said ‘wow – there is a ball pool’ upon entering.”

Playlink in East Surrey hosted its own 16th birthday party last month, in an afternoon enjoyed by Welcare staff and service users alike.

“We had several ball pits and tents set up.” Says Helen Roberts, Toy Librarian at Welcare Redhill.  “A soft play area was constructed from foam shapes which the babies enjoyed.  Lentils were put onto the low level tray to scoop into water wheels.”

Welcare’s all-time favourite slide and buggies were set out along with the comfy bee in the book area.   “Some of the toys even came from the toy library to make it a special occasion. It seemed a shame to tidy everything away for snack time – the children were having so much fun!”

Party snacks were offered as a special snack time treat – the children enjoyed teddy crisps and sponge cake fingers as well as healthy fruit and breadsticks.

“This group has been amazing for us,” commented one parent.  “Always a great selection of activities and the staff are so welcoming and lovely ‘Thank You’, don’t change a thing.  You are fab!”

“We have been coming to this group for around 2 years now and my 3 girls love it.”
