Our Impact Report 2015-16

We have produced our first ever Impact Report – a snapshot document detailing our achievements of 2015-16 and an overview of who we are, what we do, and how we make a difference for children and families.

The report is available online and in print. To order hard copies please email fundraising@welcare.org or call us on 0207 820 7910.

2015/16 saw us directly supporting 344 children and 167 families, with an additional 904 children and families attending our groups and activities. Our 13 frontline family support staff worked across South London and East Surrey, supported by 200 volunteers who dedicated over 3,522 hours of support to help Welcare’s beneficiaries.

Anna Khan, Welcare’s CEO, said “2015/16 has been a significant year for Welcare. We have achieved a small but significant surplus for the first time in some years, a real achievement for our staff, supporters, volunteers and partners. We are grateful to everyone who make the work we do possible. This report provides a snapshot of what we do to support families with children up to the age of 13 and why we do it. Welcare makes a real and measurable difference to those families and children who use our services”.
