Consultation on Children’s Centres in Surrey
Published: 8 Nov 2018
Surrey County Council are consulting regarding the future of Children’s Centres. 37 Children’s Centres are earmarked for closure across the county.
Welcare has been highlighted as a Centre that may stay open, which is great news, but we still need the council to know how much the community uses and needs us so that we can ensure the Centre stays open for the benefit of all families both now and in the future.
Please complete the short survey online www.surreycc.gov.uk/consultations or pop into the centre for a printed version.
Please make full use of the comments/free text boxes to explain why Children’s Centre services are important to you/your community.
Tips for the online version….Type “Children’s Centres” into the search button on the first page and this will take you to the consultation. The survey covers all of Surrey so when asked for an area, choose Reigate & Banstead and you will find Welcare listed.
