Another £2000 grant for Welcare in East Surrey

Welcare in East Surrey is delighted to have been awarded a £2000 grant from the Reigate and Banstead Borough Council 2021/22 small grants fund.

Our thanks go to Councillor Sue Sinden and Councillor Stephen Mckenna for supporting our application to this fund for a second year.

The grant is part of Covid recovery and will enable us to offer additional free groups and courses for families living within Reigate & Banstead between now and the end of March.

Welcare in East Surrey’s core work is currently restricted to those families in highest need – referred families or families identified as particularly vulnerable – and all our groups and courses are currently only open to these families.

This additional funding has been sought specifically to be able to widen our offering to include any family who is looking for new ways to connect with others post lockdown.  This £2000 will enable us to add in more groups and open them up to anyone resident in Reigate & Banstead who wishes to attend.

Thank you Reigate & Banstead
