Denise Mumford sadly passed away in January and I wanted to pay tribute for the vision and warmth she brought to the work of the charity.

Welcare are recruiting a new Family Centre Manager for our Redhill Centre in East Surrey.

We are delighted that our work has been featured in the Diocese of Southwark  Social Justice blog.

Through all the challenges of the Covid-19 crisis, we have devised new ways to continue our work of supporting local families and children.

We had a wonderful evening at The Glades Shopping Centre, Bromley carol singing and raising money.

We are delighted to see that St Martin of Tours Church, Chelsfield have generously launched an Advent Appeal to raise money for Welcare in Bromley and The Bridge Trust.

Chris Elliott, new Welcare Chair of Trustees, welcomed Bobby (pictured) and Peter Johnson to the Welcare Centre in Redhill this week to unveil a plaque marking an unexpected legacy gift.

This week, Welcare staff held the final graduation class of the most recent Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities course.

After a break of two years, it was wonderful to be able to gather on the 19th of November at Bromley Parish Church for the Annual Service of Thanksgiving for the work of Welcare in Bromley.
