We have vacancies for up to two trustees on our Board. We are looking for trustees to help deliver our strategic aims and to ensure that Welcare has the resources to continue its work supporting vulnerable children and families throughout south London and East Surrey.
We are specifically looking for two trustees: one with experience of social work, children’s services or safeguarding and another to represent our supporters and beneficiaries living in the Beckenham, Bromley and Orpington area.
The Board seeks to reflect the diversity of the communities that we help and to be representative of a variety of backgrounds.

Family Support Worker
Permanent Contract: Full time – 35 hrs p/w
Do you have experience working with families and children aged 0-13, a good understanding of the needs of vulnerable families and a relevant vocational or academic qualification?
Welcare is recruiting an experienced Family Support Worker to deliver a broad-based preventative support service for families with children up to the age of 13 in partnership with schools, churches, local authorities and other agencies.
You will be delivering practical and emotional support to enhance the life chances of children who have experienced domestic abuse and social isolation through one-to-one support and group work programmes.
The post is based in Bromley, covering Bromley and Greenwich, and requires both in person and online remote working.
Salary: £28,258 pa
